everstart battery

Ive got a everstart battery in my 88 camaro and ive done some stuff to the engine and i was wondering if it would give me more horsepower if i bought a high powered battery like those gel cell optima batteries. And what would be the gains from it. Also, what kind of cold air intake could i get for my camaro? Are there differences in brands and do certian brands give out more horse power than others?

Well, I seriously doubt that a gell battery is going to give you any more horsepower, but it might give you more cranking amps, and supposedly they last longer. (it aint orange yet!):
