BulletStang, please forgive me.

Here's one reason why real Mustangs are so expensive and rare. I saw a LOT of them wadded up like used tissue paper on the local tracks in the early '70's. I'm just as bad as the guys who cut up the real ones except there are more of the little ones still being made. Here's my model of friend Larry Wallace's(cam grinder for Holman Moody) Tim Earp owned dirt car he drove in '72 on the dirt tracks around here.

It is a model and not as good as the one that got sold in the divorce auction so many years ago. All my local dirt car models, kitbashed and handlettered, left me during that dark time, sold for two dollars each. But I bounced back, with the help of many good friends, and rebuilt my collection with vintage Nascar racers. Here's a better shot of the model in the first pic. If I can find it I'll post the link to my how-to article on building the Petty '67 Plymouth in Internet Modeler later.

S'ok Luke...heck my 66 was saved from the crusher after the original owner wadded it up around an oak tree.

I have the book Fast Mustangs....and there are some pics of the Mustangs from the old Nascar Grand-Am division. Imagine my shock when I saw a Boss 302 being flung around the dirt

"That's a future 70,000 dollar car your throwing around like that!!!"

You know, I was reading your first gods knows how many threads, thinking 'he's in the wrong forum here' before I realised what you had done.

Awesome! A really great idea keep them coming.
