You know, I bet if you paint that body from the inside it will be EXTREMELY shiny. I noticed on the clear hood that comes with the supra, the other side thats not painted is Shiny. Can anyone with more knowlege then I verify this?

painting from the inside should look awersome

I don't really like the full look becose you loose all curves of the body. I have already see someone that paint half of it and just leave the engin bay clear..

anyway good luck

Yes, The Tamiya Supra and Tamiya R32 (only 2 i know of) both come with clear hoods. It doesnt make any difference in the finish if you paint it on the top. Just make sure you put the hood on when you paint it so the color is even.

very nice schnitzermann!

Only thing I wonder, if you paint from inside, won't the ejector markings be clearly viewable and won't the sandpaper to take off molding lines scratch the surface, making this impossible ?

I really would like to see it naked (well, see-through) , looks very nice!
Anyways just my two cents.

Yup, I was thinking of painting one from the inside but the ejector marks get in the way. It's not as bad when you leave it clear, because then it's definitely a 'model'; when you're trying to convince people it's a real paintjob ejector pin marks give it away.

I've done the kit, goes well together...my pictures are in the gallery.
