Need A New Clutch!!!

I got a 91 Hatch w/ a GSR in it and need a new clutch. I want some performance, but I don't want a hardcore race clutch. What is the diff. between sprung and unsprung and 4-6 puck??? Need to be a good daily driven clutch. Thanks in advance.

You should try lookin into action clutch. I hear nothing but good shit about them. They are kinda pricey but well worth it.

Never heard of Action, so I can't say anything about them...

I would have to recommend ACT. They don't have "stages", but they mix and match pressure plates and clutch discs for your specific needs. Most likely, for your setup it would be a Heavy Pressure Plate, with a Street disc.

I have a Clutch Masters Stage 2 and I love it. From what I understand, They have come along way in the last 2 years. Back then, they were having a lot of quality control issues, with warped discs and shotty materials, but I have nothing bad to say about mine. I beat the snot out of it everyday, and it is strong

I would have ordered an ACT, but when I needed a clutch, they were on backorder. So I went with the CM.

Just remember to "break-in" your clutch for 500-700 miles before you beat on it.....you'll be glad you did later.

yea, well not "normal"....

Be very gentle when engaging 1st gear and and on the transition between gears. I set my Trip meter, and then forgot. I went 923miles before I realized I could drive normal.

I would say at least 700miles. It sucks, but its the proper way to do it, and your clutch will have better clamping force and will last longer
