Cool window tint

what's goin on?
I was just wonderin', a couple of my buddies just got nailed for having such a low light transmission from their window tint. I'm getting a lil worried cuz I don't know what the legal percentage is where I live. If anyone also lives in halifax and know what the legal percentage is it would be a big help, for my record and my bank account!

http://www.pcisys.net/~bpc/auto_law/tint/ Read through there for the terminology, Nova Scotia (Canada in general) is listed near the bottom.
