is it bad?..

ok i went to the tracks on the 6th of june at pacific raceway seattle/auburn best time i ran was a 15.99@86mph i ran 3 times i was not gonna stop till i hit the big 15s my first run was a 16.3@83mph second was [email protected] because i stalled out i had to restart my car....haha..then my 3rd run i hit that 15.99 so i stopped... so im thinking of goin to the tracks again on the 20th at mission raceway in canada......is it bad to go so soon after racing on the 6th...will u think my motor will give up...what should i do to keep my motor alive..add some additives like restorer, slick 50 etc.....i wanna hit atleast 15.5 on my sohc vtec motor....

you dont really have enough mods to push that time, it wont do anything to your motor to go next weekend, if you ran everyday, then it'd be a different story.

anyway, keep practicing, changing shift points, launch speeds, etc to try and better that 15.9, good luck.

I would guess that your car would be capable of about a 15.3 with your current mods. Depending on how many miles you have on your car, you might consider getting a valve adjustment. It is surprising how much general maintenance can do for your engine. Every little bit helps.

Keep practicing the launches and just run a compression check every now and then. 15.5 could well be attainable. Good luck with it
