Question Replacing Universal Joints??

HELP?!?! Im replacing the universal joints in my 95 s-10 blazer 2 wheel drive. Ive got the drive shaft out and have tried the socket technique to push the cap through, but the stupid thing wont budge!! The snap rings have been removed, it actually seems that they werent even there, cuz i didnt take them off???? They are on the other two caps though? Im sooooo confused!?!?

Good possibility you have factory original U joints! These joints have a plastic inside which holds them together. Either you can heat them up melting the plastic or have them driven out on a press. I use a welding torch to heat them up and a hammer to pound em out.
