Question on paint job...
I'm trying to stick with stock bumpers in doing my paint job, but I would like to get them painted as well as the rest of my car (same color). I have seen it done on a few cars, but somebody was telling me it's increadibly difficult and paint easily peals off of them or something. Any opinions/truth otherwise? I don't want to have to get it repainted every other year =/. Thanks guys!

If it's done right, it should be fine. I think FourthGenHatch wrote a how-to on doing it yourself, and his turned out really nicely and he hasn't had problems with them... If you're having a shop do the painting, they should be able to do it, if they can't, they're morons, and you should take your business elsewhere.

i did mine and they came out amazing!, the only prob is i didnt put a clear coat on, cause the paint place told me i didnt need it cause it was a dual stage base paint. its so shiney but im starting to wish i did the clearcoats. the rock chips are already happening and i painted it bout two months ago
But so far i have no problems with flaking or anything else, u just got to be careful u dont hit anything or ur screwed.
