Greddy Turbo Kit
I was owndering what the spool up time on the greddy kit for the Si is. Isn't like 2200rpm and your boostin. Because now im stuck between REVHARD and GREDDY, I like the greddy because it comes with the FCU and the INJECTORS, but i like REVHARD beacuse of the turbo, and external wastegate. I'm not a serious racer, just lookin for some more oomp for daily driving.

Well once you get that extra oomph, your gonna want more.
Go with the revhard. The 18g for the Si is not a quick spooler compared to the 15g fo the D series.

REVHARD is better than Greddy. Plain and simple.

Yea, i was thinkin that. Anyone know where i can get a ball bearing upgrade for one. I can get the Revhard stage 2C for 2850. But id like a quick spooling turbo.

Sorry I don't. But yes it is wise to get a ball-bearing with an engine with such small displacement.

So is the Greddy turbo kit a good basic starter kit for a daily driver but still have power to run with a DOHC or any other contender that must run? Also does it hurt to run this turbo kit without an intercooler for a long period of time?

A ball bearing cartridge is ~500 bucks. Not worth the extra 2-300rpm faster spool. IMHO
Revhard makes a nice kit. So Does GReedy. I just perfer Garrett turbos. You will need an intercooler for more then 5psi.

if your looking for some more "oompf" for daily driving then dont do turbo. when you turbo a honda all the rules change and unless you have the money and/or the elbow to do the work that comes along with it, its not worth it. you wont be that much faster if you dont know what your doing

custom is the only way to go in my eyes. Piece together your own kit. It may cost a little more depending on what turbo and manifold you go with, but you'll be much happier in the end.

Does inline pro make a D series manifold yet? They are THE best for the money.
