97-01 Prelude Type-SH Greddy Turbo kit.....

anyone know when the greddy turbo kit is gonna be available for the 97 on Ludes SH? Im having fun kicking as with no FI...i can only imagine what ima do with some boost........uhhhh...droolll......:sun:

or does anyone suggest a Jc racing Super charger instead? Ive seen dyno sheets of a 98 Sh putting 240hp to the ground with the SC, intake, exaust and headers.......

call greddy, not a lot of people ask for the greddy kit for preludes. Most prelude guys run the f-max kit and drag kits.

as for spanking cars with your NA prelude, I doubt you're racing any real cars, because I use to easily whoop on prelude VTECs with my hybrid 4dr. and my 4dr was considedred slow by me...

I think it's the other way around...What mods you got then? Just curious....

One story, at the track, raced a 5th gen SI(not the heavy SH)...he told me he had a header, intake, exhaust, and a zex kit jetted for 75hp)....WOW, same setup as me, but damn.....I was gone. The only other thing that was different was that I was on slicks...ran a 13.8 to his 14.2.

Back to the subjest though....the greddy kits probably won't be out for a while...

All im running under the hood is an AEM CAI, Greddy EVO, AEM Gears, AEM Pulleys, DC Sports Headers, VAFC Controller, JR Fuel pump, JR Clutch, Crower cams, JE Pistons, Bored heads, 5deg valve job, ported intake, lifters, rods...blah blah all internals...ready for some boost damnit.

with a 13.8 i give u mad props man, thats nice.....not all hybrids suck if you do em right.....i raced a hybrid civic and he only managed a 15.2 to my 14.6. But a 14.6 all motor 5g Lude is not bad, and with about 8-10lbs of boost im hoping to hit the high to mid 12s.

and you cant call 5gs slow when your running 13.8s too, cause with those kinda numbers everything is slow. But why u using spray? why not boost?

THe 4dr is long gone. Blew the motor trying to squeeze too much nitrous with no fule mods...here's the new motor, thinking about selling(hence it's in the clasified section)and going 2.0L GSR....it is built for boost...of course this is in my other car(CRX)

the slicks are what makes the difference.

as for the "heavy SH", it's only 150lbs heavier than the 5th gen Si.

and the Si only has 160hp stock.

i also meant to say "4th gen Si", since there is no "Si" in the 5th gen series.
