Broken Speedometer
I apologize for wasting band width if this has been discussed before but, a search of the Tahoe forum, came back with no hits. My speedometer suddently (no jerks, no sound, no nothing) went crazy while on an extended trip. I noticed it registering around 90 when I was not going over 70. As I continued to watch it, it gradually crept to up over 120!! My odometer is working fine and my cruise control is working well. What happened and how do I fix it?

Re: Broken Speedometer
When you created your Thread ''Broken Speedometer'', Google ads & Similar Threads will be attached to yours @ the Bottom.. Google Keywords for Add words; Auto cluster repair.
You might be able to find a used cluster from the salvage yard, or Ebay. Don't worry about the mileage, because the miles are stored on the ECU/PCU. Focus on Similar Thread @ Bottom ''Broken Speedometer on 2004 Yukon Denali'' see www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=653181 For DIY, see www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Repair-a-GM-Speedometer/ *** See www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_Instrument_Cluster_Settlement I actually fixed a Honda Speedometer with a magnet and just bring the pointer to 0MPH!
