1985 Riv w/307

Hi,

This '85 Riv with a 307 Carburated Olds runs rough after first starting (a cold start) in a hot (Texas) ambient temp of 85 degrees F and above. After reaching operating temp it runs fine. Everything appears to be okay except for this.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks, Mark

Most common issue with these symptoms was the choke pull off on Quadjet, when it quits the choke stays shut too far and loads up the engine.. Air cleaner off, make sure the choke is closed when setting the throttle, just after start it should pull open about 1/8-1/4 inch if the pull off is working.
