Ferrari F40 Competizione

Almost don't wanna post this due to it being completely upstaged by the other F40 competizione :P Finished today, very happy with how the paint turned out. Annoyed when I found out that the engine bay doesn't fit properly on this kit without modification! It's too late now I guess. So if you ignore that.. Completely OOB.

Lost a headlight cover on that 250GTO.
Comments appreciated!

Looks good cool color choice, totally sucks about the rear hatch issue. Love the last shot w the 250!

Re: Ferrari F40 Competizione

Thanks RX-7

The colour is Tamiya German Grey TS-4. There's no clearcoat or polish, to keep the dull look.
Thanks for looking everyone!

Re: Ferrari F40 Competizione

Great work, Looks fantastic! Always good to see an F40 in another colour!
If you drill out or remove the tabs that connect the main body & chassis together over the rear wheel that should hopefully releave the stress & let the rear hatch sit better. That was recommended to me when I encounted the problem. But overwise its an amazing kit!

Re: Ferrari F40 Competizione

Looks really good, but I agree something must be done about the fit of the engine lid...

Unless you just want to display it with the lid up?

Great work!

Re: Ferrari F40 Competizione

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

I had sat for aaaages thinking about whether to paint them or not.. I was going to... but then I decided not to. xD

I get very enthusiastic about doing my models I have nothing else to do with my time cept drum, play games and make models, and the feeling of completing something is brilliant, so the enthusiasm kinda keeps me going!
Thanks again everyone!
