Wow, you're like an assembly line. You're knocking them off left and right. Can't wait to see this puppy finished.

Re: Ferrari F40 Competizione

I already have one update though.. I have been thinking on this one all weekend so I made this at once.. It´s the rear diffusor.. The real car had it and this one is only made as a streetversion I have to say.. it´s only the decals that makes a difference.. and the wheels ofcourse..
Enough chat.. here it comes..
BTW, I have been thinking of open one door so you can see the interior.. should I :?:

Re: Ferrari F40 Competizione

Should look good when done. Instead of chopping a door off - you could leave off a side window and cut a new shorter piece from clear sheet so it looks like it's open. You'll achieve the same result with less work. IMHO.

Re: Ferrari F40 Competizione

Okey.. I decided to open a door on this one.. I will let the pictures to the talking

I splitted the windows

Have been working a little bit on the ?door side?..

And hopefully it will look something like this when it´s finished

That´s it for now.. We will see if I can get something painted on it by the weekend..

Re: Ferrari F40 Competizione

How did you split the window? Did you just use a knife? Becuse I´m afraid - when I´m doing this that the windows will crack!

Re: Ferrari F40 Competizione

deltableh - I think I will glue the door into an opened position

godfather23 - I used a little saw.. and then I sawed on the flat side on the window.. the side you see on the picture.. I sawed in the "panel-line" on the window.. because I think that if I will do it from the thin side (upwards and down trough the window) it will crack..

Looking forward to following this one too, Rickard.

Good idea to open the door

That`s great. Is P/E included or you bought it separately of kit?

Re: Ferrari F40 Competizione

SMALL update
I have been working on the two non-openable front lights today and the airvents on the rear-hatch.

Here are the pics (first time seeing this on a model I have to say  )

I think they look good

The Airvents on the rear-hatch
OOB

Cut out
