Tamiya 1/24 F40 competizione monte shell

Just bought this kit, it`s my first build and my first WIP on automotive. I have not finished it yet, I`m now at the stage I have to get the body to fit right.

I wanted to make possible the hood and doors could be opened, so I had to scratch build the front, as well as the chassis, as the parts (battery, cooler).

And finally, it starts to look like a car, couldn`t resist testfitting the body to see how it looks. Have tot do a lot about it though. Actually I am waiting for Motometalix tot finish his model, he is building the absolute best version of this kit so far I know.

Looks great so far. I like all the details you have added.

The only criticism I can see is that the roll-bar padding looks a little odd.
Not sure if it is out of scale, or the color. It just kind of sticks out to me.

Great work so far though!

This is your first build? wow makes me feel bad about my own work haha, but I do agree the roll bar padding seems a bit out of scale and stands out. Good job so far
