High idle

When I first start warm or cold the idle is approx 1300rpm and the car will go by itself at approx 25 kph. This will be ok after about 2 min of driving and all is good. What am I missing some kind of idle sensor ????

1) Clean Incoming Air Control (IAC).

Is the Check Engine Light on (CEL) ?
What's the <year> <mileage>?

Also look @ Similar threads @ the bottom of yours.

Mileage is 145000 kms no engine light and its a 2002 lesabre 3.8, I'll check the IAC.

In addition to pulling the IAC and cleaning the pintle and mating bore, clean the throttle plate and bore also...it's possible the throttle plate could be hanging up in the bore......

Also check for possible vac leaks......
