Remove the bearing caps and pull?

Its just like any other piston engine as far as I know.
I assume the engine is upside down?
In which case the only things that hold the crank in place are the bearing caps. Remove those and it will come right out, assumeing you have also removed big end bearing caps as well.
If the rods and pistons are still attached then its going to be a real bitch, as you have to work against the piston rings as well. Simple rule, pistons out the top, crank out the bottom

or prehaps you need to do a few reps at the gym? I know cranks can be heavy, but it shouldnt be that heavy

ok i removed all that shit, but from looking at the block, it seems there is no notch way to pull the crank out from, like the block was poured around the crank? it makes no sense to me.

i swear, all im looking at is the crank with the block around it, on one end is a gear where the timing belt goes, and the other side is a metal disk that hold my torque convertor, neither one seems to be removable.

Lightbulb

Dude...you have to remove the girdle.... when you turn the motor upside down, it is the part the supports the bottom of the crank when it is in the car.

Check out The Old One's site. http://theoldone.com/articles/badtothebone/

this article is about building a b20 - but it has lots of pics that should help you out...and figure out how to get it apart.
