Window Crank Removal... Stumped.
Hi guys.... I was wondering how to take off the window cranks on a 97 Plymouth Neon. I know GM cars have a tool to use to take of the little metal clip that holds em on, but these are different. Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Re: Window Crank Removal... Stumped.
there is a clip behind the crank sort of like a horseshoe...I bent a tight "J" on a thin long screwdriver to snag it...put it back on the crank before installation and just give it a tap with your hand to install (if you have a dental mirror it will help you in the clips orientaion)

Dont Pull Off The Panel disconnect the door handle rod inside the panel without moving the panel too much (u may damage it) and disconnect the plastic clip by pushing it in the direction opposite of the rod . if u did it correctly, u should be able to lift the rod smoothly out of the clip .the clip should remain in the panel. The speaker size is 6.5 Good luck!!!!
