Passenger rear door Open Alarm

2000 S Type Jaguar 4.0 149kmiles
Major Alarm ''Passenger rear door Alarm''
The door/latch on the RR door wouldn't latch.

Need to remove the inner door panel, 1/4 rear window, and exterior door handle for lock latch removal.

Caution - The exterior cover for the door handle has a 8mm screw inside of the door, and the other end is fasten with a clip, it needs to be push in to pop the door handle cover off.
The other 8mm screw can be remove from the out side fora door handle removal.

If the clip breaks, just use a little Home depot liquid nails for easy installation.

New door/latch - $300
Used from a doner Lincoln LS - $20

Modified by grinding steel rivet from linkage on LS lock latch, and switch linkage from bad Jag lock latch to put on LS Lock latch.
