door open alarm buzzer

it took about 3 years, but it has finally annoyed me to the point that i've gotta remove it. I was trying to hunt it down but cant find it, and i can only track the noise for about a minute before it starts to really irritate me lol. As far as i can tell it's coming from behind the radio...?

(i tried searching but i guess the terms are too vauge...no good results.

Re: door open alarm buzzer

i didn't follow the link, but the buzzer is behind the radio. pull the radio (remove outer bezel, then remove 4 screws, and radio will pull out) then open the door, listen for the source of the sound. just unplug the buzzer, then you're good to go. it makes troubleshooting under the dash with the door open and key on much more reasonable.

no reason to even listen for the source of the sound, its on the inside of the right bracket towards the back. You can't miss it.
