See if you can guess what this song is about....
These are the lyrics:
What I know, I can't say for fear of hurting a friend What I know, instead I play I hope it works in the end Good time 'gal, been a pal she doesn't think you're a chance Real good 'gal, don't care how but try not to take it to heart Nobody thinks you're a chance, don't you fall for 'one last dance' Exile boy, the quiet one You know what they say 'bout the boys who don't relay Watch him now, don't fade away don't fade away What I've seen, I can't say for fear of hurting a friend What I've seen, don't wanna know what's pulling you to a bend Things on tape, cannot fake it was it meant to be there Can't escape, don't now think you'll leave the world with your fear You'd be surprised at who'll care, both now and if you're not here Exile boy, the quiet one You know what they say 'bout the boys who don't relay Watch him now, don't fade away Exhile boy, 'cause tomorrow's not too late Last edited by Insaneogram; 06-04-2003 at 01:14 AM. |

I think he means exile, but I'm not sure if I spelled it right. It sounds like a song writting to a friend who feels the need to end his own life over a girl who is now dating the guy who wrote the song to me. Is that right??? If you wrote that, you might wanna tell your friend you're there for him.

Two guesses:
#1: The guy the song is written for is gay and is attracted to the guy that wrote the song, but the guy that wrote the song is strait or bi and already dating a girl. He wants to stay with the girl, but doesn't know how to say it without hurting the guy the song was written for. #2: The guy the song is written for just came out of the closet and is getting harassed for it (didn't happen at my school, everyone got along with the three or four homosexual people here). The guy who wrote the song is trying to stay friends with the other guy, but doesn't want to also be harassed or seen as gay also. I don't see how the girl plays into this one. Am I the only one guessing??
