98n Lesabre heater hose replacement
Hi. 1998 Buick Lesabre Custom. I want to replace the 2 heater hoses that come from the tensioner assembly to the 2 tubes on the firewall that goes to the heater core. I looked at the area one has to work with and I cannot see how I can fit anything around the firewall to connect/disconnect the heater hose at the firewall. I removed the top service cover that allows you to look down to see the 2 spouts coming out of the firewall but I do know see anyway to get in there to perform the work. Removing the hoses from the belt tensioner ...piece of cake...but the other end....I need to hear from someone who has done it.
Thanks, Sam in Cary,NC |

This tool will be your friend. I've used it several times, so it's very much worth getting.
