Ignition Lock Cylinder

I own a 1999 s/w2 and my ignition lock cylinder is worn out, so I removed it and went online to purchase a new one. However the ones online don't come with a key and they say they are not coded does that mean i have to have a key made for it? Thanks for the responses

Re: Ignition Lock Cylinder

You should be able to take it and your current key to a lock smith and they will match it to your key.
