04 Envoy 4 water pumps in 2 months. HELP !

04 Envoy cooling system. Over the last 3 months I am on my 4th water pump. Garage advises it may be the fan causing stress on water pump and needs to be replaced. They said no guarentees. The fan has a slight wobble according to mechanic. Each water pump lasted about a week then a light mist of coolant would appear on battery cover spraying off serp. belt. After a couple of days puddles appear under vehicle but no one can seem to fix it properly. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also I read the after market water pumps may be inferior to genuine GM water pumps. Should I order a Genuine GM water pump and or fan clutch??? Dont know what to do.. Please help

I replaced mine with an aftermarket pump for play in the shaft at 110k now 150k no issues, prior to that I had the fan ass'y done for the clutch being locked up, either these pumps ar junk or the belt is so tight it is damaging the seal, repl. clutch if they think this is the issue, but ask for a warranty if that does not correct it, maybe have the shop source the pump from a different store, mine was new not rebuilt.
