reverse gear gone

i was driving to work n the transmission fluid was low. it made grinding noise. but wouldnt go n reverse any more. no sound what so ever when i go n reverse. n dont attempt to move. what could i do to get it going

Have you tried putting more Transmission fluid if you have I think your reverse and transmission is toast and may have to get a new one most likely and I am pretty sure of it too.

Yes , I went as far as changing the strainer and added fluid. Not sure how hard it is to change the transmission. Its a quad twin cam motor.
