Cool Yamaha Bobber

Hi,

the Yamaha XV 1600 Roadstar kit from Tamiya (1:12) is sleeping in my shelf of unbuilt kits since years.
Now I decided to build it without chrome, lower and just with the necessary stuff.

Here the front wheel and fender out of the kit:

I shortened the fork and fender, here everything covered with gloss black:

Wheels are dechromed and painted black.

Front of the frame is modified, holes for the co-drivers footrests are closed.

Painted engine

Engine sits in the frame, rear wheel is fixed, front fork just added for the mockup

Very sharp, amazing job you did on the engine. Very realistic, looking forward to more updates.

Re: Yamaha Bobber

Hi,

the tachometer on the tank I will not use, I modified the tachometer as an inlet for the air-box.

Some mesh, black colour and it looks like this:
