Thumbs up Another Beast Is About To Be Unleashed!

Guys, just to post a photo of a friend's R33GTRV-Spec's engine...just massaged to perfection and about to be reinstalled. The world's total bhp is about to increase by about 600 soon.

Hmm that engine looks very familiar? Mario built or possibly the original? Not likely but still a work of art R33

one day ill have my own skyline to fix up... oh wait i do and MotorEx has had it a year fixing a single blow piston.

One word of advice, Dont let MotorEx fix your Skyline! They are the worst business ever. But since they are the only one to do the deed to the gtr ya cant avoid them.

XS Engineering is you best bet for skyline repair or upgrade. Where mine is currently. Hopefully soon it will be finished.

Dude, that is one nice engine bay.

R33,

Is it built like your engine? Cams, Turbos, etc.

The guy went head on into the pits! Pistons/conrods/valves/cams/turbos/ecu etc etc. He is using HKS GT-SS turbos and F Con V Pro ecu. The engine is prepared to Top Secret's recipe. The difference between this and my car is that this car is tuned for fat torque along the power band sacrificing with it top end power while mind is set up for track attack.
Haven't gone to the track with this guy yet after his mods...we shall see what happen.

That is the way I want my engine set-up. I mean that is perfect.

If he is putting down the same HP as your R33, and he has the better torque figures, it would really depend on the track as to which GTR would win.

Is your car fixed? I hope so.

His BHP will be lower than mind...his is churning around 550hp at the engine while the torque is more evenly spread across the power band. In contrast, mind only gets loco after 4800rpm. It is a matter of preference really...
Yeah, my car is all fixed now...with new AFM and clutch...am now thinking of titanium exhaust from Amuse...only 5 kgs front to back and sounds delicious! Was looking at the 'cooler pipe connecting hoses the other day...I think they are getting soft...prolly hv to change soon.
How's your 2 beasts Sky (well, 3 if u include the 'Stang)? Any new development?

The Stang has an Oil leak coming from the Supercharger. So, I have to send it in for a rebuild. I keep running into small problems here and there. I plan on spending this summer sorting them out, and then selling her, so I can bring back 2 GTRs. 1 for street, and 1 for racing.

At least that is the plan Today, it might change
