Well I started on sunday and so far is going very very slow, when I started putting the kit together I was following the instructions step by step, but after finding this forum I switch to doing the body first since it will take longer, and worry about the rest in between coats of primer and spray paint. So far the body got 2 coats of primer and is gettting ready to be sprayed today.

you had to paint it blue, didn't you? j/k, it looks very cool, although I'm not sure the undercarriage is meant to be silver. it's my understand now that painting things silver makes it easier for it to get dirty. to each their own, though :smoker2: keep us updated.

well I used some rubbing compound and the paint look good, although not as good as I want. I was expecting this been my first time. I'm actually happy, but I'm sure I could have done better. If I would have give the car another coat of paint. I'll have new pictures soon. I been busy at home with the wife so I had to put the project on hold.

Looks nice dude. You can avoid rubbing back to primer by adding a few coats of clear and then rubbing back until the paint shows up on the cloth. Comes out very nice and shiny too.
