tell me what ven letter tells me the size of my c 10 chev truck 1969 230 or 250 ?

I don't think the 230 was used after 1966 so likely your 6 cylinder ( if an original stock engine ) is either a 250 or a 292 . The 250 motor mounts will be straight across from each other while the 292 mounts will be offset from each other . I'm sending a PM with additional info .

The info I'm finding looks like most identifiers are internal. If the pistons are flat topped with valve reliefs stamped in them, its a 230. If they have "D Shaped releifs its a 250. Also, the 230 has a 3.25" stroke where the 250 has a 3.50" stroke. Most of the parts seem interchangeble.
