Tamiya Ferrari 312T3
Hi guys,
I finaly completed this one. This model should have been finished some time ago, but because of some 2K clear issues i had to find a new body and cowling for this kit. Thanks to "Tiffoc" and "Jordan" i was able to complete this model. It's not build straight from the box, because i added some wiring, funnels(acustion) and funnel mesh(MFH), to give the model some more detail. As you all know the kit has some serious fitting problems. The cowling doesn't fit the body. I had a lot of sanding to do and i still would fit, so i left it open so you could see the detail, witch i'm proud of, because it was my first time i've gone this far. The body parts where painted with Zero Paints Formula red 1970 - 1980 , but not the cockpit(TS30). After i appy'd the decals i sprayed a thin coat of gunze Mr. Topcoat to seal them. After a couple of days i sprayed 2 thin coats of 2K clear and polished everything with micromesh and tamiya compounds. The engine, radiators, suspension and other parts where painted with different shades of aclad paints and gave it a wash with some tamiya smoke, to give it more dept. I'm pretty proud of the result, but like always there where some little mistakes that i can't seem to get rid off. So here are some pics and like always comments and tips are welcome. Enjoy. Best regards, Lesley ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: Tamiya Ferrari 312T3
Nice build. I think you can see all the way up the exhaust pipes to the valves. ;-)
