Re: wheel speed sensors

ABS/brake lights yes; O/D light I don't think so.

I would think your problem is the Brake Pressure Switch under the brake reservoir leaking fluid (that would cause the level to drop and cause the brake light) into the Transmission Range Sensor on top of the transmission (causing the O/D light problem).

Oscar.

Re: wheel speed sensors

If you do end up checking the wheel sensors...

Here's a link to pics I took when cleaning and checking wheel speed sensors as part of my ABS diagnosis and repair project:

Re: wheel speed sensors

I have actually taken it in for the recall and had the brake pressure switch replaced, the range sensor has been replaced and I have cleaned the wheel sensors (and since I cleaned them the ABS/Brake light comes on more often than before).

The reason I'm asking is that I had the transimission replaced twice and the O/D off, Brake and ABS lights still come on.

The tranny shop has run the codes for the OD off light and all they'll tell me is that it is a TCC code. They cannot find the problem, they are thinking that I have a bad ABS module and that it could possibly be causing the OD off light to trigger. They won't touch it any longer until the ABS/Brake light issue is corrected.

Re: wheel speed sensors

I'd be checking the neutral safety switch (TRS). You may just have an unrelated problem causing the OD light to flash.
