Rear Defogger

My rear defogger stopped working. After following the FSM diagnostic I discovered that my rear defogger was toast, quite literally:

I found this thread on the Gran Prix:

It looks like the thing will be at least $100 up here in Canada. I will have to see if I can clean up the connector on the other end. I really think it needs replacing, but I don't see GM stocking replacement connectors. I may have to solder a makeshift connector.

Does any one know of a revised part out there for this module? I'm not holding much hope, just checking.
