The front door lock actuators are are feed by the "front electronic module" and the 2 rear one, plus the tail gate are feed by the "rear electronic module"
When you activate the door lock switch, the information is sent to these 2 modules ( not directly to the 5 door lock actuators) which process the command to the actuators. Now when you put your van in drive, the 2 electronic modules receive information (engine running, transmission in drive) and feed both door lock actuators. ( the process is reversed when you stop, it unlock). According to my wiring diagram I do not see how to disable the feature without desactivate all the door lock system because everything is process through the 2 electronic module.

Re: Auto locking

To activate/deactivate Autolock/Relock feature:
1. Turn ignition from OFF to ON/ACC.
2. Press power door “UNLOCK” three times.
3. Turn ignition from ON/ACC to OFF.
4. Press power door “UNLOCK” three times.
5. Turn ignition from OFF to ON/ACC.
A horn chirp indicates the activate/deactivate feature mode is
entered.
6. Press power door “UNLOCK” one time.
7. Press power door “LOCK” to switch between
Autolock/Relock.
The user will hear a horn chirp followed by either a:
n long honk — autolock/relock activated.
n no honk — autolock/relock deactivated.
After leaving the activate/deactivate mode, if autolock/relock
has been changed, there will be a horn chirp.
To reactivate the Autolock system, simply repeat the instructions
for deactivating the system.

Re: Auto locking

Well, I managed to get out to my van this afternoon and give this a shot. After 10 tries I had to give up, it does not change the stock set up.
I printed out the step-by-step procedure and had it in the van with me, so I know I got it right. Any suggestions ?

Re: Auto locking

The instructions I gave you came directly from the owners manual.
Not sure why they are not working for you.

You may have to take it in to the dealer and have the module configured by their programmer.

Re: Auto locking

I have some good news !
I had a look in my owner's guide and on page 112 is the procedure for deactivating the autolock feature and it worked !
This is for a van that has keyless entry.

The steps are : 1 Enter 5 digit entry code
2 Press and hold 7/8 control
3 Press and release 3/4 control while holding 7/8 control
4 Release 7/8 control
The horn will chirp once if the autolock is deactivated.
Note : I had to use the factory code as my personal code did not work.
Thanks grog11 for the inspiration to look in my owner's guide.
