02 Trans Am - want ignition start to auto lock the door locks

How do you get the doors to lock automatically when starting the car?
Dealer won't tell me, wants me to bring it in.

I also have an 02 that came from the dealer without this feature turned on. The salesman told me when I called and asked that he has seen the feature on other Pontiacs but didn't know if it was on the Firebird. Never have been able to bring it in yet and couldn't find anything about it in the manual.

My car has that and I think its more of a pain then helpful, I don't know how to do it because it came that way

I have it on my Buick, and on a couple of occasions it's almost reulted in me putting a brick through a window

I know you can change items on the alarm by pulling out the radio fuse and pressing the lock button. Might do something simular for the autolocks. Try to look in the owner's manual, I bet it's in there.
