How to change the LIM gaskets?

Transport 1998 3-4 liter; finally got to the bottom of the LIM to change the gaskets. But the gasket goes behind/in front of the mechanic (suppose these bars serve the valves).
How can I change the gaskets? Do I have to remove these bars and if so, how? I am afraid to change too much. See attached picture of LIM.

Those are Pushrods, you need to remove them, but the intake and exhaust pushrods are different lengths, make sure you reinstall then in the same order you removed them.. You will need to remove the rocker arms to do this..

Also curious, did you get the Fel Pro metal framed gaskets for the replacement?

No, it looks rather as plastic. I bought it in Sweden, was there in the summer time for a house exchange.

Actually, if you have the special tool to depress the rockers, you don't have to loosen the rockers to remove the rods........but yes, the push rods should be removed, and put back in the SAME ORDER....

I nearly finish the wok. One tube (most probably vacuum) on the engine backside got off and I don’t know where this tube should be connected to.

Joseph.
It goes into your valve cover on the back side of the engine. It should have a sorta barbed end that will stick into a grommet and, because it is barbed, will stay in.
