I hope you can print timeslips because I call bullshit. When Honda can only get a 15.3 out of a 160bhp SiR, I can't see you cracking 16s. More to the point, I ran a 15.6 in my SiR - you're telling me that your car is as quick? |

Haha...well let me tell you this...
First of all i never talk bullshit!!!!! And second of all,in sweden we have higher octane then you,we use 98. And third,if you check out www.hondaklubben.com (the swedish honda performance club) u can see the times on a lot of cars (click on klubbilar)and there u can see that alot of cars is going faster than you. The crx with the b16 engine ran for instanse 14.5 The civic with the b16 engine ran 14.9 The civic type R ran 14.01 Here are the results from the last race Framhjulsdrift utan överladdning 1. Micke Fång, 14,027 s/158,82 km/h 2. Hamed Piltan, 14,174 s/154,11 km/h 3. Patrik Bolmsten, 14,325 s/156,30 km/h 4. Fredrik Gehammar, 14,526 s/151,35 km/h 5. Joakim Olsson, 14,710 s/152,93 km/h 6. Junior Shahin, 14,754 s/149,21 km/h 7. Johan Öberg, 14,832 s/148, 03 km/h 8. Henrik, 14,848 s/147,38 km/h 9. Anders Lundgren, 14,884 s/153,45 km/h 10. Janko Stopar, 14,907 s/145,32 km/h As you see everyone is quicker than you,ok some of them got the mods of an xhaust, cai, and no cathalytic converter but there´s no big HP gain´s in that, bouth you and i know it,so what´s the conclusion????? Well i think either you drive like my granny or.........The swedes drive like real pro´s, i don´t know, what do you think??????? |

BLAH BLAH BLAH.....
![]() Anywho.... I ran 16.3@ 84mph before I blew my trans case up. I honestly think I could have broken 16....Maybe I'll try again when I get my new trans. My only mods were: Aem warm air, stage 2 clutchmasters, and a leaky thermal catback. And for you non-US guys, we're talking about the SOHC 1.6L D16a6 (108hp). Lets stay on topic, you can bash each other in another thread.

Antoher friend of ours ran a 15.6 with his D16a6 equipped CRX. Mods: No cat, homemade exhaust and a filter in the stock airbox. |

Never make assumptions - we run 98 octane here too. :finger:
I guess the difference is that we tend not to bullshit our figures. I find it amazing that your stock cars outperform the rest of the word. Post timeslips please, the rest is bullshit. |

hahahaha - 14.5 is intense??? LOL - anything under 12 is intense, the rest is just talk. BTW - your cars aren't stock and a CAI will not drop 2 seconds off a time.

what the hell is 15.xx???
There is a huge difference between 15.0 and 15.9 . And I dont think any amount of octane or elavation difference is going to make a d16 run anything under 16 flat.....sorry come again. I just find it hard to believe that you would be running deep into the 15's without any other mods than a CAI. I have about a dozen friends with Civics and Crx's and not one is running anything better than mid to high 16's with the stock motor.....which is why everyone swaps the motor out. As a matter of fact, I have the fastest stock motor right now, and Im only low 16's......and thats because I can drive Civic is rated at 16.1 as a baseline in the 1/4. To say that a 5hp CAI is netting you .7 on your ET is a little much. Next time you exaggerate, have some video of the run. Because posting someone elses slips is about as easy as making up bullshit stories. :finger:
