Review. Joe Honda Brabham BT46, 46B, 48 + Alfa Romeo 177,179.
I have just received another must-have Joe Honda book. 80 pages, mainly color. Japanese text – translated into English. Main focus is Brabham Bt46 and BT46B (Swedish GP). Superb pictures. But only few technical pictures of the BT46B. I was at that race in the paddock and I still remember how secret the Brabham team was regarding the BT46B. So to obtain pictures was very hard – also for Joe Honda. But there are 10 color pages with a BT46B technical work-around. This car belongs to Bernie and the superbly restored car was at Goodwood FoS some years ago. Except for a few mistakes the car is VERY close to the original car. The famous Danish dynamic duo was on-site and you can see the result in the book.
If you are a Brabham BT 46 fan the book is mandatory. Now there no excuses for not doing the BT46 and BT46B. Next book is the late Ferrari 312 T2 + T3. I am already looking forward to this book. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I've been thinking about getting the books. Pictures are great but how accurate is the English translation?
