odometer not work

Odometer and tripmeter not working, the speedometer and tachometer work.
What could be wrong? Chevy Venture ´99

If the speedometer works and the odometer does not accumulate miles, the Cluster needs to be replaced.

Now it became time to deal with the odometer, I took a meter off the block, loose screws, odometer engine itself was jammed shaft attachment slot tip, carving, and a bit .. is working. It is interesting that some form of narrow strips of sand paper fell from the odometer engine out of the socket??
