pressure test reading

Hi ,is 40 psi ok for a new fuel pump on a 91 grand voyager 3.3?
-with fuel pump regulator air line off its 49.Even checked before new filter-40.

Runs fine but not sure if regulator is why its low.-should be 45 .

It's probably ok. Doesn't the pressure go up if you give it gas?

pump just went out..doesnt even give that sound its pumping now(will check relay/etc)..

I think pump is defective but it made a knockin noise like- before it quit pumping.

-one other time it gave out and restarted after 40 min..now nothing.
