03 Bonneville Oil Pressure Gauge reading High
I have 2005 Bonneville that shows that the oil pressure gauge is reading high. I replaced the Sensor - Oil Level after replacing the oil and the oil pressure gauge is still reads high. Could someone tell me if there are 2 oil sensors for this car or if there is another reason why it is still reading high?

Re: Oil Pressure Gauge reading High
What engine? Most have 2 sensors, one for level and the other for pressure. Which one did you replace?

Strange that AZ says you don't have one!
Try Advanced! It is located under the vehicle, passenger side, lower front engine area, above oil filter, mounted in the block. You need to take the right tire off and remove the splash sheild to expose it. This sensor fits the following vehicles: BUICK 2000 - 2005 LESABRE 2002 - 2003 RENDEZVOUS 1997 - 2005 PARK AVENUE CHEVROLET 2006 EXPRESS 1500 2005 SILVERADO 1500 2003 SILVERADO 1500 GMC 2003 SIERRA 1500 2005 SIERRA 1500 PONTIAC 2000 - 2005 BONNEVILLE Here it is: (New Design) Advanced - GP Sorensen Oil Pressure Switch Part Number: OPS192 ![]() ![]() ![]() BTW, the oil level switch in located in the front of the oil pan.
