03 envoy acceleration

Hello im new hrer and im having a little issue with my truck i dont know if is a big problem or what but when i step on the gas pedal the truck doesn pick up as it should all you hear is the trottle make noise but slow moving like something is clogged somewere is it the vortex os something else? Please help...

Welcome to AF, not a very good description of your problem, if it sounds like a helicopter and is down on power it may be the electric fan clutch on the water pump. have a shop listen to it.

Thanks for the quick response again what is doing is that it wont pick up fast enough when you take off from a red light it takes time to reach speed,at cruising speeds it runs fine till you try to pass .

I was thinking clogged catalitic converter?

Air - Suspect bad or dirty air filter, MAF sensor, or throttle body.
Fuel - bad Fuel pump pressure, or filter.
Exhaust - Bad catalytic converters.
