What is the proper trans running temp?

I had my transmission rebuilt, Dodge "41TE".
What is the correct operating temperature, I was thinking but can not be sure, that it was running 150-160 deg.
After the rebuild it is running 190-210 deg, is this correct?

Re: What is the proper trans running temp?

Depends heavily on load conditions, but 190-220 should not cause any problems since it is designed to run through the radiator for cooling and rad temps would fluctuate in that range.
