Bed tie downs strength

I have a 03 1500 silverado....I am looking to put a chain across the bed at the two tie down posts in the bed. Off that chain I want to put a winch to pull up tractors/mowers up ramps. Is this something my bed can support. Most the mowers would be around 800-1000lbs. I have a Pro Tec Composite Bed if that matters.

I don't know how strong those points are. I would say that it would not take 1000lbs of force to pull a tractor or other equipment with wheels up into the bed... I would buy a small trailer and use that instead of the truck bed. much easier to load unload..that is if you plan on doing this all that often...

using a 1/4 inch steel plate16 inches square , bolted to the truck bed then mount a 12 volt electric winch on that plate..that should do it safely..
