F1 Driver Figures 1/20th

Some 1/20 scale driver figures I finished recently.
Mostly GF-Models - a great range with optional heads / helmets etc – providing lots of build options - great value for money (depending on where you buy them!) and with the range continuing to expand so to is the detail and finish.
Other figures from Modellers (The Prost / Senna combination is a modification based on the same Prost figure which I believe is now retired) The “Senninah” Senna is from CRAFT 10. This is the only figure I’ve built from that range – very crisp / clean resin with lots of surface and by all accounts the others in the range are up to the same standard – so I’ll probably order some more.

I have more “GF” figures in the pipeline – Alonso, another version of Villeneuve and some from the 60’s .

They look really realistic. Do you have a WIP of these? Love the wash and shadows on the figures.

I guess you're working with acrylics as the faces have a mat aspect. Have you ever tried painting with artist oil paints?

Yes Acrylics dry much faster and I find them easier for the F1 subjects. I generayyly use Artist oils for larger Military subjects (see pictures attached) as they give a wider range of hues and they also blend very well,
