oxygen sensor wire
we just bought a 04 lancer and when we bought it we didnt realize there was no catalytic converter on it and i cant seem to find the o2 sensor wire i dont know if it was completely removed or it is still there where could i look to find it?

On new cars, the catalytic converters are closer to the engines exhaust manifold to help prevent grass fires.
If the H20 sensors were missing, the Check Engine Light (CEL) would be on. See http://www.alldata.com |

whoever had the car before us took out the converter and it just has a straight pipe with a muffler the car did not need emissions where they were from so i need to get a new converter and i need to know where to find where the post converter o2 sensor should of went so after i put in the new converter i can hook up the sensor so the cel will turn off and the car will pass emissions mostley the problem here is i dont know where the o2 sensor wire needs to go after i install the converter

i know this already. do you know what the wire hooks up to on this car? so i can find it if it is still there
