Unhappy Need to find the Oxygen Sensor wire

Hello All!

I have a 1996 Chevy S-10 with the 4cyl. Engine.

The 'Service Engine Soon' Light came on and I read the code (P0143 O2 Sensor, Bank 1 Sensor 1 - Driver's side before the cat). I bought a new sensor & replaced it. After I reset the PCM, the light came back on in a couple of miles.

As it turned out, the wire that attached to the 02 sensor connector had gone bad... And came off (broke off). I tried to find the wire it had come from (Inside that massive wire loom, filled with wires), but I can't find it.

My Question: Does anyone know where a that 02 wire eventually leads? If I could bypass the impossible-to-find broken section and just splice in near a harness, that would rock. Any ideas, Help?

Thanx in advance!
