Sorry guys, 1990's pricing is a thing of the past. When these kits were made originally, the cost of oil was $20 usd/barrel or less. It has been a long time since oil has been that cheap- and we will never see it again. Licensing fees have also increased astronomically in the last two decades. Even though Tamiya has the molds on hand to make kits, they cannot sell kits now without paying the licensing cut (the 2010's licensing fees, not the 1990's fees). This is not really Tamiya trying to gouge you- it is simply Tamiya doing what it can so they can afford to sell kits.

So buy them all now- next time you see them, they will not be so cheap....

Aha i also understand this.. and i'm not trying to accuse them of being dishonest, but this became a maneuver of all model factory, Fujimi, Aoshima, specially the second one, stop production for a while and when it's re-released it have a higher price

Am I the ONLY person that wants another Vehicross? I wonder(doubt) if they can find it in their wallets to tool up a LHD dash:/

The LHD Rodeo dash is quite different than the RHD Vehicross dash, is it not?

I still have one of the original kits, still sealed, that I got for a song at a hobby store closeout.

Personally I'm happy Tamiya is reissuing the Porsche 961 and the original NSX Type R. I don't think that kit (Honda NSX R) was ever officially offered via US channels, but it's on Steven's list so I'll definitely get one this time.
