Tamiya is re-re-re-releasing the Porsche 956 in Kenwood colors

Didn't know if you all had seen this. Looks like the rear wheels are BBS too so no more having to buy resin ones. Wonder if it will include PE.

PE will be separate. They released a 956 detail set when they announced the Canon livery. I think it has PE, maybe seatbelts, and antenna bases?

Looks cool for a re-re-re-release I have one of the original issue of 962C FromA version, and dammit I would trade it in a heartbeat plus $$ for any Tamiya's 956 kits.

I wonder if they'll ever release the CLK-GTR Original Teile and BMW850i again...

The BMW 850i was produced using the Revell tooling so I doubt we will ever see Tamiy re-release that one.

The Original Teile CLK-GTR can be found on eBay, and given the current Tamiya prices the re-released kit won't be any cheaper.

I had seen they were doing the Repsol 962 as well. Scale Motorsport is releasing a 956 PE detail set.

Yes, a shame about the 850i, that kit was well detailed and I was lucky to have one in my stash somewhere.

Talk about coincidence, but I just got an Original-Teile CLK-GTR plus Scale Productions open door transkit and SMS Super Detail Set for US $65 shipping included

Now maybe I can finally be happy and start building
