2000 Ford Focus power locks quit working
Just wanted to share this in case someone else had the same problem. My 2000 Ford Focus SE power locks suddenly quit working. Checked all the fuses and all were good. Did a search on-line and found this. For some weird reason, which is totally beyond me, ford has placed one fuse on the back of the fuse box located below the hood release. This is the fuse for the power lock. To get to it you have to remove the fuse box, its a 20 amp fuse. I replaced it and everything works again. I think Ford really wants us to go to the dealer for every little thing.
