Re: Lexus LFA

The first two pics are sweet. The aluminum came out great, i always liked how tamiyas aluminum comes out with clear. Very clean job, thanks for sharing.

BTW What paint did you use for the seat and did you use a certain technique?

Re: Lexus LFA

thanks guys

@lownslow - you should be careful when polishing the body especially the A pillars, mine almost snap. also pay attention when putting the rear diffuser.

@midmazar - on the seats, i just used tamiya flat acrylic paint with an airbrush.

Re: Lexus LFA

Oh wow. Stunning. This car looks great once you build it. Who cares what people say, the design grows on you.

Now, if someone would custom build a roadster version.

Re: Lexus LFA

Looks very nice; color scheme is nearly identical to the LFA that is located near me, though it is a US car w/LHD.

One nit...you should have filled the gap under the door where you glued in the lower side scoops.

I won't post my LFA here until it is published in Scale Auto. Don't know about you, but I really enjoyed the build, had very few issues. Your rear spoiler definitely fits better than mine. I didn't seat the rear magnets properly I haven't installed the little wing spoilers over the rear lamps, not sure if I like them or not.

The chassis indeed looks stunning. This kit has quite a lot of details. Awesome build.

im leaving mine off they look so out of place on the real deal a full lip wing might be in order for mine but im not sure if my potential customer will dig it
